Annual General Meeting 2016

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held in the Burnt Oak pub on Wednesday 15th June. Here are the highlights;

1. Review of 2015/16 Season

Our first competitive season in the men’s Southern League exceeding expectations as we gained promotion from East Division Three and will be playing in East Division Two next season. We have consistently good numbers attending midweek training and our novice players are improving week by week. Participation from women players was less than we hoped. We welcomed the small numbers of boys and girls who attended our training sessions.

2. New ELA Player Registration

The new ELA registration process was explained to all present. Players need to register and pay (£30 senior or £15 students/juniors) before the start of the new season via http://register.englishlacrosse.co.uk/registration. All men who intend to play league games next season MUST register and pay the EL membership fee before playing a league game. As we have no teams for women and juniors (yet) then registration is not mandatory but highly recommended to be covered by the EL Public Liability Insurance package.
