Preview: England Lions vs South Vets, 31st May

The England Lions over 50’s team will be competing in the age-group competition as part of the FIL 2014 World Championships in Denver in July. The majority of the Lions squad play their lacrosse in the Northern league so this game will pit them against veteran players in the South.

As per last year’s similar event, we’ll hobble back to the Woughton Pavilion bar after the game for food and beers.

UPDATE: Game now moved to the Woughton astro pitch due to waterlogged grass pitches. Thank you to the glorious British summer weather!
