Training will run in two 12-week blocks with a short pause over Christmas and New Year. The second block of 12-weeks will start on Tuesday 9th January 2018.
Training is mixed, i.e. men, women, boys and girls. The suggested minimum age is 14 years but younger players are welcome if they, and parent/guardian, are happy to train with adults. We run through training drills as a group, but also split into separate gender groups to work on the specifics of the men’s and women’s game.
Training starts at 8pm on the concrete tennis court area beside the astro. Here we warm-up and go through basic stick skills. At 8:30pm we move onto the astro, fully warmed up and ready to run.

Equipment
Specific lacrosse equipment will be available at every training session for those without. For women this is a lacrosse stick. For men in addition to a lacrosse stick, a helmet, gloves and arm pads.
Please bring appropriate shoes for the astro (no studs) and clothing appropriate to the weather. You’ll get warm playing lacrosse so bring layers to take on/off as required.
Mouth guards are mandatory for men’s games so please bring to training.
Mouth guards are highly recommended for the women’s game. In colder weather bring grippy gloves. Cycling gloves are ideal. These keep you hands warm and give a little protection if a ball accidentally hits your hand.
