MK jump to 3rd in SEMLA East Division 2
Following the 15-2 take-down of Cambridge University Eagles last Saturday, Milton Keynes jump up to 3rd place in SEMLA East Division Two, as of 20th Jan 2017. After narrow defeats in many games early in the season, MK have now won 3 of their last 4 league games. The team make the long journey down to Eastbourne this Saturday to play Brighton Panthers.
East Division Two

5 | Reading 2 | 10 | 27 |
6 | Welwyn 2 | 9 | 26 |
7 | Brighton Panthers | 8 | 21 |
8 | Cambridge University Eagles | 9 | 19 |

10 | London University | 8 | 2 |
As you can see from the table, the top two, Spencer 3’s and Epsom, are out on their own, with the next six teams battling for mid-table honours. Teams with games in hand over MK can equal our points tally or jump us. Two teams are promoted/relegated so MK is almost mathematically safe from the drop. Given mid-table is so tight, each week it’s feasible for a team to jump/drop 3 or 4 places. It’s going to be an exciting second half of the season.
