The action will start around 6:30pm and finish when the sun sets. On most day’s we’ll be able to play until at least 7:30pm, often later if the skies are clear. Those with work commitments, arrive whenever you can.

To keep club funds ticking over we will introduce a suggested fee of £1 per player per week. Money collected will go towards the purchase of new lacrosse balls for the new season that starts in the autumn.

Our stash of club sticks (men’s and ladies) and protective equipment for men will be available at each session. If you are new to lacrosse come down and give it a go. We’ll lend you a stick for the evening.

We’ll plan each session depending on numbers and the boy/girl split. An ideal scenario with an equal boy/girl mix will be a warm-up followed by drills to perfect the lacrosse basic of throwing, catching and running with the ball. It would be great to then play a series of quick 5-10 minute games, for example 6 or 8-a-side, alternating between a girls game and a boys game. Between games you can throw around, enjoy the evening sunshine or just sit down and have a chat.

Our suggested minimum age is 14 years but younger players are welcome to join us provided they are comfortable playing with older people. There is no maximum age. If you can still hold a lacrosse stick then you’d be welcome to come join us.
