Preview: Tasko Cup 18-19 July 2015

The second running of the first indoor lacrosse tournament to be held in England, the Tasko Cup, has been confirmed for the weekend of 18th-19th July 2015 at the Solent Arena, Fareham, Hampshire.

If the format follows that from 2014 expect two days of hard hitting indoor lacrosse from domestic and European teams. Last year’s winners, LCC Radotin, dominated in 2014. Will we see an improvement from the home teams. Given 2015 is also World Championships year (September in Buffalo, USA) expect the best box players in Europe to be coming to these shores as part of their preparation for the champs.

Fitness permitting, MK’s Rob Gooch, will be on the floor, playing again with the Heaton Hornets, otherwise he’ll be there in a non-playing capacity.
