MK at the Compton Cup 2021
Milton Keynes men’s and women’s squads entered their first joint tournament on Saturday at the 2021 Compton Cup, hosted by Spencer Lacrosse in London. It was all part of the annual “Spencer Day”, a pre-season celebration of lacrosse, with music, drinks, BBQ and two 8-a-side lacrosse tournaments.

The standard was high in both the men’s and women’s competitions. Most of the London / South East top-tier clubs were representing. For the mostly novice MK players it was an unforgettable experience; playing against and watching some of the best players in the country. AND… we scored in EVERY game we played!

In the women’s competition, Hawks beat Putney via an overtime goal.
In the men’s competition, Spencer beat local rivals Hillcroft.
