Welcome to Milton Keynes Lacrosse Club

Milton Keynes Lacrosse Club is a vibrant and dynamic club that trains and plays competitively in the heart of Milton Keynes. We have a strong presence in the local lacrosse community, with both men’s and women’s squads, and we love playing mixed games where teams are made up of both men and women squad members.

About Our Club

We are a social club that regularly gets together to watch Ice Hockey games, cheering on the MK Lightning team. In fact, some of our squad members are also ice hockey players, making for a fun and lively atmosphere at our social events.

Tournaments and Events

We are proud to be a part of the lacrosse community, and we regularly attend tournaments and events throughout the year. Some of our favourite events include:

  • Bluesfest: An annual Lacrosse tournament and festival that brings together teams from all over the country.
  • Compton Cup: Another annual Lacrosse tournament, hosted in the heart of London – always a great experience, and a chance to try our skills against some of the best teams in the UK
  • Sixes Tournament: Our own annual tournament, where we invite teams from across the region to compete in a fun and fast-paced competition.
  • Leicester Boars and Guilford Gators: We love playing with these teams, and always look forward to a building new skills, and fostering new friendships.

Family-Friendly Club

We are a family-friendly club, and we love having our squad members’ children join us at training sessions during the summer. They often have a blast playing a bit of lacrosse, and it’s a great way for us to give back to our community.

Equipment and Support

We are well-stocked with equipment, and are always happy to lend sticks, helmets, and pads to those who need them. Our club is run by Robert Gooch, a trained referee and lacrosse coach who is always on hand to offer support and guidance.

Leadership and Connections

Robert Gooch is not only our club president, but also the president of the SEMLA organisation, which is the governing body for the leagues we are in. He has been part of recent England Lacrosse campaigns, and has connections throughout the sport, including the Box lacrosse league. This means that our club is well-connected and well-supported, and we are always looking for ways to grow and improve.
